There is a powerful new player in the global data center arena: Turkey!
Having become one of the fastest growing markets, Turkey is blossoming with growing financial strength and an unprecedented IT investment boom.
The Turkish economy is expected to grow by 3.6% in 2014, and Istanbul is emerging as a major financial and communications hub, with fixed and mobile Internet usage growing and investments in new broadband infrastructures increasing. Turkey is also set to become an important manufacturing hub for leading multinationals, and Government digitisation efforts are spurring IT growth as demand for cloud services rises and the focus on mobile security intensifies – Turkey is indeed becoming an information society.
Now in its 5th year, DatacenterDynamics Converged Istanbul 2014 is specifically designed to fill the knowledge and networking needs for both those responsible for the design, build and operation of data centers, as well as key IT and network professionals responsible for strategic decisions regarding capacity planning and technology investment. To efficiently tackle all matters at hand, this year’s agenda is structured around four core tracks: ‚Design & Strategy‘, ‚Power & Cooling, ‚IT & Networks‘ and ‘App to Cloud‘, each providing in-depth panel discussions and best practice case studies.
This flagship event will:
• Establish a regional knowledge map for end users and clients to find experts and solution providers
• Offer global best practices, latest technologies, methods and processes needed for local industries to grow and compete in the digital age
• Institute a lobbying impetus for the Turkish data center industry through supportive government policy, a regulatory regime that explicitly recognises the connected world, and provides access to appropriate forms of finance
• Inspire all stakeholders with game-changing debates and speeches
Formulated through a unique framework that draws from multiple sources of real-world feedback, including attendee surveys, end-user focus groups, frontline discussions with industry executives and clients, and research metrics – the conference agenda is highly relevant and action-oriented, with a fresh perspective on the potential of the data center industry and new thinking about how to resolve challenges and maximise opportunities.
This will be an event experience that delivers new thinking otherwise unavailable anywhere else.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 4th December at the Haliç Congress Center.
